As children move an object closer to and farther from a light source, they notice how the size of the shadow changes.

Shadows Big & Small, Part 1

Children participate in shadow demonstrations using a flashlight, a hand, and shadow puppets. What happens to the shadow as the hand or shadow puppet gets closer to the flashlight?
