VocabularyVocab:

landmark, left, right

A drawn brown road with a cow on the left and a tractor and pumpkins on the right, with text stating the positional language.

When walking, on a bus, or in a vehicle together, take turns listing landmarks that are on your left and right. Start by naming things only on your left and then naming things only on the right. To make it challenging, reverse the game by saying an object and having the other person call out if it is on the left or right. Make a game where the first person to name 5 things wins!

Note: Learning left and right takes repetition and practice, usually over several years! Take your time and have fun together!
